Fortnitemares 2021: When it starts, classic monster skins, and what else we recognise
Fortnitemares 2021 is officially on. The Fortnite Halloween event is in reply over again to offer up new skins, new activities, and more sPoOkY content all month.
The bear-sized draw this twelvemonth is the addition of the Universal Standard Monsters, including Frankenstein (that's Frankenstein's monster, thank you) and the Momma. That's the Karloff version, not the sexy shirtless Arnold Vosloo who fought Brendan Fraser. C'Eastern Standard Time lah vie.

Fortnitemares start time
If you're indication this, Fortnitemares is formally connected. The event was announced and at the same time launched on October 5 at 10am ET, though the teasers were abundant beforehand.
Fortnitemares: Universal Classic Demon skins
Epic is adding skins based on the Universal Classic Monster batting order. Up first, we've got Frankenstein's monster in his standard fleeceable-velvety-skinned and smack-necked style. We've got plenty of new skins that don't flow under the Universal Classic Monster line. Returning skins include the pumpkin outfits, seen below.
Then we've got ii new skins called "Boxy" and "Packer" based happening community-successful designs. Hey, it's Sir Thomas More effort than some outfit than I make.
Then we've got Geometriks, a fellow ready-made of regal cubes. Information technology seems someone has taken the theme of Fortnite season 8 a little too seriously.
Then there's Iones, a goth charwoman who's clearly a wolfman and not really afraid to flaunt it.
Fortnitemares events: What's happening along the island
Reported to Epic, and some insight from data miner HypeX, the cubes garbled around the island are passing to converge in the center. Presumably some event will kick off when they all reach their destination. Ideally we don't get a conscious cube that wants retaliation.
In the meantime, inexperient quests will represent added that will let you earn spooky cosmetics. Heroic poem is also adding the Double Ogre Hunters crossbow, a newly weapon system that deals extra harm to fiends in the Sideways zones.
If you've enjoyed former years' "Short Nites" motion picture festival events, you'll credibly want to check prohibited "Shortnitemares," a spooky take connected the original event.
